My story

Years ago, burnout became a clear message from my body and mind that I had reached my limit. I left my corporate job and started a new path as a legal consultant and yoga teacher. Hatha yoga had long been my way to relax and connect with my body, so it became a natural first step in my recovery. With regular practice and a slow return to myself, I found my footing again.
I wanted to share everything yoga had given me, so I opened a boutique yoga studio in Ljubljana, focusing on small private groups and corporate yoga to help employees manage work-related stress. I truly loved what I was doing and thought I had left burnout behind. While I felt happier, freer, and more fulfilled, it soon became clear that I couldn’t fully address the deeper causes of burnout with ‘just’ Hatha yoga. The same unconscious beliefs that once pushed me to the edge had followed me into this new chapter, and before long, I found myself once again heading down the fast lane to exhaustion.
During this time, I went through a difficult breakup with my then fiancé, which left my life in pieces. Looking back, I honestly don’t know where I’d be today if I hadn’t discovered Transpersonal cognitive therapy. After just a few sessions, I felt a sense of relief, renewed will to live, and, most importantly, hope. Hope that one day things would feel lighter. Four years later, I can confidently say I am a completely different person.
The therapeutic process helped me not only process the heartbreak but also confront childhood wounds and release limiting beliefs about myself and the world that had once driven me into burnout. My journey of personal and spiritual growth continues to this day.
Along this path of self-discovery, a deep desire to help others through therapy emerged. I completed the four-year program at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology – Academy of Transpersonal Cognitive Therapy, earning the title of TCT® Consultant. Today, I work as a therapist under supervision. I also bring together my legal background, my love for psychology, and harmonious relationships through my work as a mediator. Additionally, I teach yoga, which has been a constant part of my life for the past 10 years. Since 2024, I’ve also been volunteering with Društvo za nenasilno komunikacijo, applying my knowledge of psychology and non-violent communication to support others.
What I offer today is rooted not only in my formal training but in lived experience. That experience has taught me that with honesty, courage, and the right support, we can build a life that feels truly full, authentic, connected, and aligned.
